Saleema - Holy Burden

Saleema is a digital illustration that carries my great-grandmother's name. The illustration is the product of the pain of watching holy sites in Falasteen get attacked often and more intensely during Ramadan.

The Dome of the Rock is in the background, Saleema is draped in a kuffiyeh and her hands are raised in prayer. Several sets of hands are placed beside hers signifying past generations and future generations there to protect the holy sites.

You may use the item for personal use, including printing it, framing it, and using it as a desktop background.
